This open mic encourages artistic expression, cross-departmental connection, and creative risk-taking. All students are welcome to attend, perform, or support their peers. A seasonal concert presented by the DA Vocal Department, held at All Saints Episcopal Church. This evening performance features a variety of holiday and winter-themed repertoire performed by select vocal ensembles. The Winter Spectacular offers students an opportunity to share their artistry with the community in a festive and reflective setting. This recital is presented as part of the requirement for student's Vocal Tech class. Students will perform classical solos and duets in a variety of languages including English, Italian, French, German, and Spanish.

A signature showcase event featuring performances from across the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, including select ensembles from the DA Vocal Department. Held at the Times Union Center, Extravaganza highlights the artistic excellence of DA students in a professionally staged concert environment. Vocal students participate in both the dress rehearsal and final performance, representing the department with polished repertoire and collaborative spirit. This event is a celebration of the school’s diverse talent and a major highlight of the spring semester. (There is no transportation for this event)

This concert serves as a preparation and showcase event for the Florida Vocal Association’s District Music Performance Assessment (MPA). DA Vocal ensembles perform their adjudication repertoire in a formal concert setting, allowing students to refine their presentation and receive feedback from faculty and peers ahead of the official MPA.

Description:
Join the Douglas Anderson Vocal Department for their annual Cabaret showcase and Silent Auction in the DuBow Theater.

An evening of solo and small ensemble performances by DA Vocal students, showcasing mostly contemporary music, jazz, pop covers. Held in the DuBow Theater, Cabaret offers students a chance to perform in a relaxed, cabaret-style setting with live accompaniment and creative staging. This event highlights individual artistry and provides valuable performance experience in front of a supportive audience.

Access to our Silent Auction room is also included, where you can view and bid on a variety of items. Proceeds from this Silent Auction are used to fund our Annual Vocal Scholarship for one graduating senior going on to major in Music at the college level, as well as supporting the mission of the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Vocal Department and it's continued operation and success.

Non-Performing Vocal Tech Students are required to attend as observers as outlined in their class syllabi.
